Biography:
Tristan Gittens is a painter and materials artist working between California and London. He has over twenty years of experience working in the fields of data analysis and bio-science and comes from a familial lineage of artists. His practice is the intersection between these disciplines. He recently graduated from Royal College of Art in London with an MA degree in painting.

Statement:
My work examines human experience on an emotional and philosophical level. The work transpose concepts of space and time in relationship to individual and group perceptions of reality into material representations through painting and mixed media. The work is an emotionally expressive landscape of the concept of existence.
